Guest guest
I know the Zone Diet has been discussed in the past and I have read the archives, but I didn't really find what I was looking for. I am definately of the theory that not all diets work for all people and that lowering calories and eating more fruits and vegetables is a diet in and of itself. My questions concern the research and information that Barry Sears has published (book form obviously). Whether you agree with his diet or not, is the information he provides bogus, misleading, or biased? He offers much more information than just how to follow a set diet. I am interested in his theories on insulin levels, ecosainoids, hormonal levels, EPA, etc. and wonder if this is just good marketing or sound science regardless of whether the diet works for me or anyone else. He has a new book coming out May 7 on omega 3 fatty acids that is supposed to revolutionize his diet and the nutrition world. Is it foolish to waste time on this information or is it actually decent stuff? Any comments would be appreciated.
