Guest guest
Hiya Kerry It makes sense to wait on the other reconstructive – but the apron is a hard one. Its not a cosmetic so much as a health and hygiene issue too. Those nasty rashes that never clear, not to mention the quality of life aspect. Its a hard one, but it would probably be the one op I would line up for twice if I had to. I sympathise with you on those knickers. I love what I call my `suck em ins' and will wear them over the top of my cotton knickers, lots of corn flour and I can just about make it thru a hot day. Guest guest
Nic, Try zinc powder. It is cheap, and is very, very good. It is exactly the same as Cure Rash, but much cheaper. Thanks for the tip Nic. Why do you use cornflour? I use heaps of talc powder and have the antifungal cream by the buckle load to use in the first hint of itch or rash. Cheers kerry from Darwin I use heaps of powder > is a hard one. Its not a cosmetic so much as a health and hygiene issue > too. Guest guest
Hi Ghyll, I sorry Ghyll but I havent received any emails from you either to this work account or my account. My home computer had died on me and I in the process of getting another one but I dont think I ever used my home isp email account with this group. I am sorry now I didnt your emails as I so enjoy the style in which you write plus I alway learn something new. I am slowing making a list of what the different colour candle are helpful for so kept sharing your knowledge there I am feeling abit guilty as I have sitting on my kitchen bench a beautiful " new age " music cd for you that is based on the sounds of Kakadu during the wet season up here, which I thought would be really nice for you to lie back and listen to while you are recovering from your surgery. Its has the most incredible sounds of a tropical rainstorm blowing up and raining over the bushland and with all the critters making their sounds, ever so peaceful !!! And here you are bouncing back and the damn cd is still on in my unit. I going over to our local shopping centre this weekend to met up with some of the Darwin band people, I will pop it in the mail the. Ooops just thought I have Bev home address - could you please provide me with an address for you? Thank you for the lovely words about my weight loss. I need to start dwelling on how good I done and not how much I have to do go. I think my problem with this thinking stems from the fact each time I have lost a reasonable amount of weight, I would get cocky to a degree and be so proud of myself, I would sort of fall off program and put not just put what I have lost on but more. I been trying not to fall into this again but I think I gone the other way. I went to the gym the other day and had an appointment with a trainer and she has recommended I get one of those elastic wristband thingy to wear and every time I have a negative thought about myself, I am to ping myself and replace it with a new positive. She also suggest I do a poster up with a pix of myself and write 10 nice things about myself on it and then the next day another and then another.. This I cringed at. Maybe the wristband would be a good starting point and we see from there. Anyway, Ghyll its really nice to have you back and thank you for setting up this site. I get so much pleasure from this group and the sharing and learning. And I even getting to become somewhat of a a cook which I have never thought I would be able to say about myself. Cheers kerry from Darwin > > Citrus Punch > > Kerry, > > I think my computer server is eating up emails that I send to you - must be something about my desire to get to Darwin and not getting there, so the ISP just says if you can't get there then no mail goes there! I have written about three emails directly to your email address and had no replies from you - I know that you would have replied if you were able!! > > Firstly of all I must congratulate you on the fantastic journey you have had so far. Your weight loss is absolutely phenomenal and you should be so bloody proud of yourself. Wow Girlfriend you look amazing. > > You look after yourself and we will chat soon, > Love, > Ghyll > May all your weeds be wildflowers >
