Kris, In the beginning, the reasons for my wanting to do SubQ had nothing to do with breakthrough infections--that would just be a bonus. I don't like taking Bri out of school once a month to spend the day at the hospital if there is a reasonable alternative. Also, since he is twelve, it would give him some control over the process. He could have a part in deciding when it's done...he could insert the needle himself, etc. Although he clearly sees the need for IVIG, he is still fighting emotionally with having to go and get it. Guest guest
Actually, if you buy the Pendant from brain-trainer.com, you get free installation over the internet of hardware and software, and we provide support if there are problems. We've had quite good support from Pocket-Neurobics (the manufacturer of the Pendant) when a problem has gone beyond our ability to resolve it. Guest guest
Hi-Jumping into this line of conversation, I'm looking at equipment and training too for working with my son. We been at NF for 2 years now trying a few different approaches and so far the only thing he has been able to both tolerate and clearly respond to has been the lowest frequencies of ILF (whatever your opinion on that work). I'm hoping eventually he'll be able to handle higher frequencies and mono polar placements. We'll try pIR HEG as well, thanks to some guidance from you Pete. While I'm drawn to the TLC, the Pendant and the training offered through brain-trainer.com, I'm assuming the option to train at ultra low frequencies (as in .0002 etc.) is still not an option, yes? I think I have to go with Brainmaster, Cygnet or possibly Nexus and maybe have to get certified and or licensed just to be able to participate in their training programs. A longer road than I'd hoped to have to travel. Any insight into this dilemma would be really appreciated. Thanks- "There is a crack in everything and that is how the light gets in."
