No, but I have heard of the placebo effect. It can be very efficacious, at

least temporarily. This may be a placebo effect by proxy.

alfalfa tonic

One of the parents at school has been giving her 'active' son

" Dr. Reckeway Alfalfa Tonic " to help him focus. He has been

slightly more calm since she started giving him a teaspoon a day.

Has anyone ever heard of it?

Hi

The body will demand more food when it is able to process more. I am sure once TST is in place and his body is oxygenating better and has reduced the cellular toxic load, his appetite will improve.

We find with Tash that at periods of developmental change her appetite drops off ... her body cannot deal with a lot of food to digest whilst advancing in other ways.. so as long as she remains well hydrated then we are now comfortable with her not eating so much.

Best Wishes

Tracey

Thanks Tracey, i am just worrying as Harry has dropped from the 25th centile to the 9th, he is very skinny and tall and really can't afford to lose any more weight, roll on next week, i am sure will be able to give me some help and hopefully soon he will be back to eating everything in sight. I remember my eldest (who is 19yrs old now) when she was a toddler she went through an awful stage and basically her diet consisted of tinned carrots and tinned sausages - awful, i took her to the see the health visitor and she told me not to worry, she wouldn't starve and it's just a faze, obviously i still worried but she was right and now i look at her and think i really did worry about nothing.

,

Do you know if zinc levels are good? If they're low, that will decrease

appetite below normal. It's taken a very long time to get ds's zinc levels to

normal range.

My ds has in the last year put on weight. I credit SCD pancakes for most of it

:-) Very caloric, tasty, healthy, easy to eat in that they don't really require

chewing. I think he looks like a normal kid now, with rather skinny legs, but

you can't see ribs front and back anymore.
