She did show up today so that was a good sign. The smoke breaks seem to have died down as well (for now).

Why are people so darn lazy? I feel for you Kathy. It seems like you've despised your job for quite some time now and with good reason. I hope it all works in your favor. If it doesn't now, it will eventually. Your good work won't go unnoticed and one day you'll get your reward in some way or another. I hear my daughter tell me all the time how she has to take the slack at both her jobs. I've told her to just hang in there (though it feels impossible at times)
