Guest guest
No experience here, just a few thoughts that may or may not be worthwhile to someone... I don't know anything about supplements but I'd hazard a guess by saying simply that your body obviously needed the magnesium in order to perform at a more optimal level. I wouldn't be at all surprised if you found other things that were very challenging that you can do more easily now because your body is getting the nutrients it needs. This is true for anyone with or without health issues. If our bodies aren't getting the proper fuel (food) and possibly fuel additives (vitamins, supplements because the body isn't making what it needs for whatever reason) then it can go so fast and so far until it runs out of gas (is fatigued easily). Whatever the reason, I'm thrilled to hear that you found something that has helped you so much! I'm also incredibly impressed that you've exercised faithfully for so long without the excitement or energy for it. Congratulations on being able to do a video that had seemed too difficult too! (not a health professional or supplement guru, just someone who has started eating much more healthfully and sees a difference in my own body's reaction to things) magnesium and exercise tolerance I was wondering if anyone has experimented with taking magnesiumsupplements and how that affected their tolerance to exercise? I'vestruggled my whole life with disliking exercise, but have been thegood soldier with doing my videos the last twenty years (sometimes abit sporadically). I also have Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism (autoimmunedisorder) which makes exercise a special challenge. From the Hashilist I found out a few weeks ago that we have really high magnesiumneeds over normals, so I bought both oral and skin gel supplements totry. My body absolutely LOVED the magnesium (like an addiction!) butI was still pretty bad about doing my videos in the meantime due to afamily crisis. So the family crisis is over and I am getting backinto exercising. Aerobics was always the most difficult so I expectedthe worst this morning when I put in my Voigt DVD. I had alittle problem getting thru it weeks before when I was in somesemblance of shape so I thought I would just at least get thru half ofit. Anyways, to my amazement, I breezed thru the entire aerobicsroutine this morning!!! Far less struggle than before as if I hadbeen doing it continuously for weeks on end. This magnesium therapyjust might make exercise fun for once in my life! Anyone else have asimilar experience with magnesium? Sue
