As far as lower back strain for that exercise: If you hyperextend the leg behind you, i.e. lifting it too high, you can experience lower back issues. You want your hips to be square toward the floor, lifting your leg just up to glute level. Hope this helps! Have fun on your date with Baron Baptiste!
