Guest guest
Hi all, I would like to find a good recipe for a healing foot lotion or ointment to make for my boyfriend's feet. He has what he calls calluses on his feet, but they are each about the size of a nickel. I'm not sure if they really are calluses because they're really hard and he said it hurts when he uses a pumice stone on them, but he won't visit a doctor. Does anyone know of a good foot lotion or of something I can make that has healing and softening properties? Thanks in advance. Hugs, Rhonda A pair of good ears will drink dry a hundred tongues. -- lin
Guest guest
Rhonda if what he has is actually a callus, just save yourself the time and dollars and get him some callus pads from the pharmacy (over the counter). They are not expensive. All he has to do is pull it off the sticky paper it comes on, stick it on his foot and wear socks for a few days to protect it and keep it in place and the callus will peal right off. I go barefoot during the summer, and got a callus last year. This works like a charm and is painless. Mine tingled at first, but I barely knew it was on there and much cheaper than expensive oils and the time it takes to make a product that one won't know if it works or not or how long it would take. Guest guest
Thanks; I didn't know about callus pads. We'll have to give them a try. Guest guest
You are welcome Rhonda. I found it a piece of cake! Mine hurt like the dickens every step I took and in less than a week, I pulled the pad off and fiddled a minute with my foot and pealed the callus right off. No more pain. I hope it helps your guy too. Pam
