Hello Everyone,

I've been *away* in so many words. As some may recall my left hip was bad.

Well, it got REAL bad. I couldn't walk, sit, stand, or lay down in any

position for three days. Sitting on the toilet seat (Ryder carried me) was a

" B! " The seat pushed into my hip and I nearly died. Yes, I was screaming

many MANY profanities! Today is the first day of no pain. Thank god it went

away! So, I've been spending some time catching up, slowly! I don't want to

stress my hip again and end up back on the couch in front of Lifetime TV. I

am bored! But finally rested. I wasn't able to sleep well for obvious

reasons.

I go Tuesday for my Remicade. So I won't be here then, maybe a quick hello.

I'll no doubt be exhausted since for some reason it takes them SIX FRIGGING

hours to do my Remicade when it should only take about 2.5 hours. GRRRRR.

And their chairs are so uncomfortable. My hip will not like it and they will

not like me when I complain all day for a diff chair!

Anyhow, I am writing to remind you all of the Saturday check-in, for those

who do it today. I want you all to know I've been thinking of you ALL week

and hoping everything is going well. (I have 162 messages to catch up on.)

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! It is also month end, so if you want to send me your

monthly totals, I will add them and post our ONE big loss for the month. You

should all be very proud of yourself! And, if you think you didn't do well

this month, remember, it was a short month AND we are doing this the right

and healthy way! So expect small numbers. OK! :) It will be worth the

[weight]. I won't get those posted until Monday, possibly Tuesday night,

depending on how tired I am Monday after Easter festivities, and after

Remicade on Tuesday.

Now, tomorrow is Easter Sunday. DON'T fret if you eat chocolate. I expect

you to! Don't deny yourself a piece. When you deny yourself of all those

things you crave, you could end up going on a binge and eating a whole bag.

So a few pieces is NOT a bad thing and NO reason to feel guilty! When you

pick up that piece of chocolate just say to yourself, " Rainy said it was

OK. " Just remember, it isn't WHAT you eat, but how much. But do focus on the

healthy. At dinner, eat more veggies than you would some of the other high

calorie dishes. You can make up for that chocolate.

OK, gotta go. Everyone have a wonderful Easter and I will be back to " work "

early in the week. :)

Love, Rainy

Dearest Rainy...you are such a sweetie. Thank you for your help &

caring for all of us who struggle with food/eating.

I can't really relay any weght loss numbers since I only have access to

a scale monthly, but I am 'hanging in there'..not quitting...trying to

make healthier choices. I talked with one of my best friends today

about POSSIBLY going to a swim for folks with arthritis/disibilties. I

need prayers for courage!

I'm so sorry about your hip Rainy I pray you will be pleasanlyt

surprised with a shorter than average Remcade treatment this time.

You deserve a 'Purple Heart' for going through SIX hour Remicade

treatments!

Much love & many blessings on this holy weekend. Thanks again for your

help, dear Rainy.

Hugs of Hope...

Your 'neighbor'...

Tess

Rainy,

I'm really sorry you've been in so much pain. I hope your Remicade appointment

goes faster than the other ones. Maybe if you explain how bad you feel, they

will

be a little quicker. Since you've been having such great luck with Remicade,

hopefully

you'll get immediate relief.

You're so sweet to be concerned about our weight check ins when you feel so bad.

I lost another pound this week bringing my monthly total to 4 pounds. Since

starting my

New Year's resolution I've lost 15 pounds! Wopeeeee!!!!! It is worth the

efforts! I still have 27 pounds to loose until I reach my goal.

I hope you're having a better day. Tomorrow can't get here fast enough for you.

hugs,

a
