Guest guest
Can't remember the reason why...something about B6 hindering something... I think The B's have to be balanced or it will cause more problems. So the best thing to do is to take B-Complex. I was taking B-75 twice a day for carpal tunnel. Usually clears up in a couple weeks BUT you have to keep taking it daily or it will come back. I know one man who had severe carpal tunnel and had his wrist and arm in a brace 24/7. It took 3 weeks for the numbness and pain to go away. He also took B-75 twice a day. When he cut back to taking it once a day, the carpal tunnel came back. So he went back to it twice a day and the CT never returned. Gloria
Guest guest
Synflex? Lots of discussion, check archives, and Suzi saw results. Think same as liquid glucosomine. Synflex could help but I would definitely go with the B vitamins for CT. I've seen it work like magic sooo many times. Gloria

Guest guest
Gloria - so tell me, did you take a b6 supplement or a b complex supplement? B-Complex. I took B-Complex that had 75 mg. of all the B vitamins. You can also take an extra 50-100 mg. of B6 if you want, but take the complex first. The B6 is the one that's helping the carpal tunnel, but you need to have a balance of all the B's. If it's carpal tunnel you should feel a difference within 3 weeks. Guest guest
Hi Shari. Previous injury and surgery can make you predisposed to carpal tunnel, but the treatment is the same. Stop doing what you did to hurt it in the first place. Buy yourself a brace from your local drugstore to immobilize the affected wrist. It is a little uncomfortable, but works wonders to heal things up. Make sure you wear it at night too; the steel holds your wrist at a slight angle to rest the tendons and ligaments. At night we tend to tuck our hands down a bit and you don’t want that. Use hot and cold therapy 2-3 times daily. Some people really do show improvement with extra B6 supplementation over a few months. When I do something to make mine flare up, the brace and hot/cold therapies work for me. Guest guest
Plant-based enzymes are good for any kind of inflammation. Also – I got my adult son a toy for Christmas, what he asked for – I had never heard of it before. But it turns out, it’s not just a toy, but also good for carpal tunnel and strengthening the muscles in your arms – check it out – it’s actually fun to play with – www.powerballs.com Carol

Guest guest
Thanks Janet. Luckily with both breaks I had two doctors who were against surgery. I have no pins and have had no surgery on either break. I think I still have a brace from my last break. Think that would work? Has a metal plate in the palm and velcro strapping over the top. But last Saturday at lunch I noticed a little cyst on the tendon that goes from my wrist to my middle finger. At rest, it’s right where I hit the hand (and I have very thin skin on the backs of my hands, with prominent veins and tendons), and as I move the hand up and down it moves up and down with the tendon, going from about mid-hand to my wrist and back again. It’s about the size of a baby pea, doesn’t hurt in the least and hasn’t gotten bigger (or smaller). Is there something I can do to help it disappear? BTW, the dh and I did start eating raw again, from THE RAW FOOD DETOX DIET. Drinking lots of green lemonade and eating lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Sharyn Want to start your own business? Guest guest
You will get all the B-vitamins you need from the raw foods that you eat, no sense taking synthetic ones (they only make for expensive urine). Don...I have a question. I have a wonderful diet, loaded with every type of vegetable (both raw and cooked) which I eat daily. However I still get carpal tunnel. When I take mega-doses of synthetic B vitamins it clears up. Everytime. If I stop taking them it comes back within a couple months. Take the vitamins again and voila! the CT disappears. I want to know why you believe that these vitamins only make for expensive urine when I have seen them help heal not only my CT but for others too? I believe what you say..the body is doing the healing, but taking these vitamins sure helps. Gloria
Guest guest
No, you use the power ball BEFORE you have surgery, not after. That way you may be able to prevent having surgery in the first place. Carol

Guest guest
Hmmm...I might be wrong but I believe you are assuming carpal tunnel, yes? Really doesn't matter. First, stop doing whatever it is that you are doing that brought it on. A fast would never hurt, but of course if you don't feel you can manage one of those for a length of time to allow healing then I would suggest you utilize a little hot and cold therapy (do not use ice, only cold water). Up your intake of tender leafy greens, the more the merrier. This will give your body the necessary organic minerals it needs to repair and rebuild. You will get all the B-vitamins you need from the raw foods that you eat, no sense taking synthetic ones (they only make for expensive urine). Because you have broken this wrist before it is not as capable of handling the repeated stress of your daily tasks (this is the correct wrist I believe, just want to make sure I have the right wrist as I don't have your original email in front of me). Of course, your best bet is to go to bed and fast until healing occurs. That is the NH way. Your body knows best how to heal itself without my ideas or your ideas or anyone else's ideas. Only your body can heal itself. Your choice on how you wish to go about it. Guest guest
Any vitamin store or HFS has b-complex vitamins. I get most of my vitamins from Vitamin World, just because my mother works there and I get a 40% discount. Sharyn From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of SV Okay, my message must have gotten lost in the nethers, but I was wondering if anyone has a favorite brand of b complex they take. I looked at one I used to take and it only b6 & b12 in it and they are only 27 mg for the b6.
Guest guest
Consider this Gloria, maybe what you are experiencing is not carpal tunnel but a cleansing situation. Taking the synthetic vitamins only masks the symptoms, obviously. These vitamins have not healed your CT in the least. If they had it would never have come back. No, I submit that you are going through what is known in other circles as a healing crisis and instead of allowing your body to heal naturally you bandaid it continually. Yes it does seem as if the vitamins help but believe me, or not, pain is necessary for healing as it is a part of healing. For whatever reason your body has decided that it will store toxins in that area and instead of allowing your body to eliminate them properly and heal the tissues properly you bandaid it with synthetic vitamins that seem miraculous in their effect. Nothing on the face of this planet can have any healing effect or affect on the human body. Things don't act on the body, not in this way, the body acts on them. Your body can only heal itself but only if you will allow that to happen. This means fasting, if necessary and it usually is, eating an all raw food diet composed mainly of tender leafy greens. The greens give the body the necessary organic minerals and vitamins that the body uses, along with the appropriate enzymes, to help rebuild and repair damage to body parts, organs and tissues. Fruits will also supply some minerals and vitamins but mostly supply what our body uses for energy, glucose, a simple sugar. You can allow your body to heal itself or not. We all have that miraculous choice and ability. Unfortunately for most of us, we don't feel we have the time, inclination or wherewithal to accomplish said task when in reality all we need to do is go to bed and fast and allow the body to do what it can do better than our oversized egos will ever be able to accomplish. This point of view is not necessarily shared by all of the management or family of HAWK.
