Guest guest
My son who is 4 years old and being treated for symptoms of OCD floored me yesterday. It was time for new socks and with Jake that can be an absolute nightmare. He put the socks on and immediately stated " They don't feel right " and went into his tangent about me not needing to buy him new socks, he hates socks etc. I told him if he could keep them on he could earn two stickers for his chart. He fussed for a little longer and went on his way. This is a far cry from the usual at least one half hour blow out. I later told him how proud I was that He bossed OCFLEA back and wore those socks. He said to me " No didn't you see me doing this (he demonstrated how he works to line the socks up so they are even)? I said yes, but you didn't need to do it for a long time. He said OCFLEA told him to do that but he didn't want to listen. I am amazed how at 4 years old he is able to understand what is happening. I hope the socks go well again today!
