Guest guest
Hi Carolyn! Re: my back - thanks! It is much better, I've learned which stretches seem to help and if I do them it really loosens everything up. I'm really tight probably from neglecting stretching and from doing these " functional fitness " workouts - which, in the long run I can see helping my back but in the short term they seem to make it tighter which requires more stretching, etc. A vicious cycle! LOL! I feel pretty good today after cardio and after some stretching with Tamilee and on my own. The funny thing about Slim Series Express is I really want the stretch workout more than the others. Cool It Off is a good workout, but too long to use as an add on - I guess I can experiement with breaking it up into segments. I was giving some thought to taking an extra day off this week and focusing on yoga or stretching. Tomorrow is scheduled to be a " functional " fitness day and I'm worried about my back. I may do a power yoga workout instead, that is quite " functional " I think in terms of using bodyweight for resistance etc. Plus I think it would help the tight areas to loosen up more. Do you have the Upper body workout from P:You on VHS - b/c the DVD contains upper, lower and circuit. Hey, we should order the kit and split it - I really want the cardio workouts back (I traded them!) and you can keep the strength DVD. We can figure out who wants the yoga/Pilates - I didn't really like them all that much I think her other yoga and Pilates workouts are better! And, I think we both have Steady Strides.... Anyway, take care!
