Guest guest
Hi All, I'm combining posts here - the weekend was so nice here that I couldn't bear to be inside typing on the computer! Anyway - Sat, I 'rested' (did housework instead of a formal workout). I had planned to do cardio to make up for my missed day on Thursday, but I didn't get up early enough as I went to bed later than planned on Friday night. I decided to 'make -up " my cardio time by adding on two short cardio workouts to my weight sessions this week. Sunday - I did 's workout from the BSS3 System (Total Muscle Shaping?) It was a good workout using the TransFIRMer (the BSS3 kit uses the old slippy box - I never got that one so I just use the TransFIRMer which is much safer and sturdier). It was about 45 minutes, I heavied up a bit on some exercises. It is an overall Tortoise style workout. A good one, but not as hard, IMHO, as the older FIRMs. Also not as interesting. Afterwards I added on 's cardio workout from this series - Fat Blasting Cardio, this one uses the TransFIRMer for cardio you also use light weights for 4-limb moves. For all of these workouts you really don't need an incline box, it is only used in that position for a few exercises and you can use a flat step and modify. Monday - I did the warm-up and sections 1, 2 & 3 of step blast. I don't have this workout in its entirety, I do it from the Timesaver DVD, so since I was mssing the " challenge " I added two hi impact segments from Step, Jump & Pump(the two that are on the Timesaver DVD). Got a great cardio workout in there! Last week went like this: Sunday - rest (travel) Monday - BSS4 Cardio with Tuesday - TLT - Endurance in Movement Wed - Tae Bo Marathon (celebrity fit and billy's favorite moves) Thurs - unplanned rest! Friday - BSS2 - Complete Aerobics and Weight Training Sat - Rest again. Hope everyone has a great day!
