Guest guest Posted April 28, 2007 Report Share Posted April 28, 2007 good morn all, this morning did jari love's slim and lean. i am a little late to the party for these workouts but hey whatever LOL. i am convinced this woman is insane in this workout. she takes the most basic exercises like squats,push ups, and benches presses and adds pulses and tempo changes. but that is most video workouts too, most video workout don't do 76 squats in one track. yep 76+ reps of these exercises WITH pulsing and tempo changes. OUCH OUCH OUCH!!! in a good way of course. i did enjoy the overall workout b/c it was something totally idfferent but i was upset b/c it was getting so tough that i kept dropping weight until i was doing shoulders and biceps with 3lbs. i rarely use the 3lbs for pilates workouts let alone a tough gym style pump workout. but she is constantly encouraging to keep going and the only way for me to keep going until my limbs fall off, is to start heavy then gradually drop to light. so i missed some reps here and there, but like comment above, there are plenty to keep the pace. if i am not sore tomorrow i will be shocked really. my legs feel alright but my upper body is burnt,fried, and toast. off to shower and start some housework with viola. if time allows we will walk up the park, if not we can go to the park tomorrow.as long as i keep her moving and involved i have less problems with her behavior. she wants to be part of everything now,so thats a good thing have a great one kassia Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell?
