Guest guest
Simons is GREAT for the older generation...he has videos geared to them with the really oldies...and he doesn't do a lot of tricky moves... is awesome too, but remember...she should see her doctor before starting any exercise regimen...Walking though is one of the best things and leslie and her in home walking is something everyone can do... Rebounders are a bit pricey... Celeste On 4/26/07, Lethe Loupe <lethe.loupe@...> wrote: Hi all!My guitar teacher mentioned today that she really wants to startexercising. I know you all have a lot more experience with different workouts than I do. Oh, and how much do rebounders cost? She's a recent widow, so she doesn't have a lot of money but if one'snot too expensive, I may gift her with it if it may be good for her to use.Thanks!Tess-- " ...I am too many this morning... Guest guest
My mom is 79 and has arthritis and she likes to ride my stationary bike and take water exercise classes with local seniors. Walking is good too but my mom has bad feet so cycling or water exercise are better choices for her...although I am trying to get her to use my treadmill once in a while. Guest guest
Hi again!Thank you all so much for your suggestions! I had to cancel my lesson last week-- my arms were so darn sore I couldn't *hold* the guitar without hurting, much less play the thing-- but I'll mention all this to her this coming Thurs. and see what seems to spark her interest! I apologize for doing a joint reply but I'm sooo far behind on emails. Y'all are so great. I know any time I have a question on just about anything fitness related, I can ask it here and get a lot of useful answers. Many thanks!Tess
