Hi Everyone,

The schedule for today called for " cardio & core " and,

lately, whenever that comes up I go for kickboxing

since it accomplishes both rather well. I pulled out

Tae Bo Celebrity Fit Cardio again. The first time I

did it I wasn't too keen on it - I felt that the

pacing was a bit uneven - but this time I enjoyed it

more. I still felt that could have done more of

the reps at tempo than he did - but I did like the

workout, just wish he didn't take so much time

sometimes to break down the moves and, if he was going

to do that (which is fine, I know he's been criticized

for not providing enough instruction) to at least do

more reps at tempo to get the HR back up there. It

was a good workout though - just not as hard as I

would have liked. It is a notch up from the Cardio

Circuits and 's Favorite Moves and Tae Bo Cario

intensity wise - but I don't think it is as hard at

the Get Ripped or the Advanced Live workouts. Shellie

is in this workout and I believe Gymmie said these

were filmed right after she had her baby (maybe

something like 6 to 8 weeks after?) - and all I can

say is - wow - she still has awesome abs! My abs are

in fairly good shape and are not one of my problem

areas - not quite what they were before DD - but

decent - and all I can say is mine sure didn't look

like that right after DD was born!

Tae Bo Celebrity Fit Cardio was over too soon for me

(It is about 40 minutes) I was planning to add on some

Pilates, but I felt like I wanted to go on and do more

cario so I popped in 's Favorite Moves with the

thought I'd just do the cardio section - (about 20

min), well, I got into it and ended up doing the whole

thing. The cardio moves are easier in this one than

in Celebrity Fit. I do like the toning moves, though

- 's classic floor work and ab work. Real " butt

and gut " burners!

By the time I got through this (about 85 min of

working out!) I didn't have time for Pilates.

I did warm-up with T-Tapp Primary Back Stretch and

tonight, since DH is working evenings this week, I

would like to fit in some short yoga or stretching -

after all that kickboxing, I don't think my abs need

any extra work this evening! With DH gone at night

this week I'm getting lots of little projects

accomplished in the evenings. My project for tonight

and possibly tomorrow night (if I don't finish it up

tonight) is to organize my workouts and go through my

collection to see what is ready to go up for trade. I

should be posting a list later this week.

Wow. That was a great workout!

I actually like the Taebo Celebrity Fit workouts - I have done each one a couple of times and find them funh. Not toguh and not as much fun as the Avanced Lives but still worthhile additions to my Taebo library. :-)

I have been MIA on the list but my update for this week -

Mon - TJ Fat Blaster with hand weights and then the washboard abs section from 10 Min Sol Kickboxing

Tues - Taebo Extreme ( I do love this workout - like the use of weoghts and seems to be having a lot of fun!)

Wed - busy day so a short workout - TJ Cardio Party Remix

hi donna! thanks for your description of 'celebrity cardio', i

think that i will skip it (although i have read a couple of good

things about 'celebrity sculpt').... however, the 'amped' set is

calling my name!! i almost ordered it from collagevideo the other

night, but ultimately restrained myself after reviewing all of the

bills that we have due! :/
