I could not lose weight and steadily kept gaining weight no matter how well I ate. M complexion was unnaturally perfect, and I lost all interest in sex (my sex drive was in the negative range). Also, my skin was dry. Here is a list of symptoms of thyroid disease I took from a thyroid group I belong to. There is an EPIDEMIC of thyroid disease among women now. No one is sure of the cause (a virus, the pollution, etc - my personal theory is a lifetime of putting up with men could do it...)
