Guest guest
Hi everyone! Today was supposed to be yoga but I really need some fat burning because of the choc. chip cookie dough (with 2 more batches being made today, then I am SO not making choc. chip cookies for a LONG time). I decided to try my new Sansone 4 Mile Super Challenge from the WATP Express series. I was kind of intimidated to do this because I wanted to be able to keep up the pace and energy level for the entire time but found 's encouragement and the incredible energy of her and all the walkers made it fun and I wanted to keep pushing and working hard! I felt so great when I got done! I think the music was a little better too. and the walkers seemed even more energetic and excited than they are on the 3 mile express walk which I really like too. There are no walking workout enhancers (stretchie band, weights, etc.) used in this workout so when I got done, my legs felt very worked but my upper body (which was used but not really hard) felt like it needed something so I did the first workout for arms on I Want That Body. When I got done with that I felt worked all over (though my abs were talking to me and I told them to just shut up, next time I might do something for them too). It was all AWESOME! DD was home but decided to watch TV instead of "help" me exercise. She gets very little TV time so it worked great! Now we're spending the rest of the day together. She was funny. She asked if I was going to do a 3 mile walk and I told her no I want to try a 4 mile and she said, "Oh, I need to do a 3 mile before I can do a 4 mile so you'd better do it by yourself." She's 5 in case you're wondering. For I Want Those Arms I used my 5s again but for the overhead triceps I finally heard her say you can do just 1 weight and tried it that way. MUCH better. I was able to do all of the reps but it was still very challenging toward the end. I noticed bicep curls are definitely getting easier so I might get some 8s soon (that sounds wild to me who has always had a very strong lower body and very wimpy upper body). The only problem is she moves so fast it is hard to change weights in the middle. Oh well, will figure it out. Anyway, BIG thumbs up to the 4 Mile Super Challenge and, as always, same for I Want Those Arms. (workout 3 of 4 and feeling fantastic!)
