Only problem might be that the stack of weights on the low pulley might get too light very quickly! But I'll try using it so that at the least, it may increase ROM... I guess I could also do the same exercise with dumbells since it would make it easier to keep the weight more in front (although again, heavy weights will tend to be hard to hold) or maybe even use a squat belt. <Since I'm not a competitive athlete, I don't have to worry about having to excel at any particular form > of the squat; you sound the same, i.e. you play basketball and as far as I > can tell, the only requirement is how many baskets you can make > successfully, not how much weight you can squat.
