Good job on eating clean. Do you use the palm and fist method?

I actually try to just eat around 16-20 grams of protein then match up

a carb that will go well with it that will get me the right amount of

carbs.

Because the SBD Frozen dinner I eat for lunch each day is higher I try

to keep the rest lower, so I come in good for the day.

The first 4 weeks I used the bars for my mid day snack as well as my

b4 bed snack.

Now weeks 5-8 I am tring to eat only one bar a day, the one before bed.

Then the last 4 weeks I am going to try to cut out the frozen meals at

lunch and do all WHOLE/REAL food. I have to find a few good things

that I can bring to work and eat for lunch...I'm thinking sweet

potatoes, Chicken and a salad..we will have to see...

Thanks For the post.

Not a stupid question at all

Fist/Palm works fine

Calories work fine

Depends on how simple or detailed you like to be

I do fist/palm. Then I track calories for a random day or two.

Yes the plan calls for fist/palm portion sizing. But I found after 6

months on the program my results came to a crashing halt even with

increasing my exercise intensity. So I have found the need to really

evaluate what I was eating and that has helped me progress further.

And ... I just like to do a reality check.

I am ending week 6 Sunday and this is really the first time I have

REALLY checked the calorie counts of what I was eating. I figured I

was where I needed to be but its nice to see the hard numbers and

know I am coing in where I thought I was. And I will take my free day

this week. I don't want to shut down..being in the range for 3 weeks

with not much free day freedome...I am fearing I will hamper my

results. SO this free day I have it all planned out >:o}

Mcs Sausage McMuffin with egg, for breakfast, Panera Broccoli

Cheddar Soup for lunch, Chili's Southwest egg rolls and chicken for

dinner...desert if I think I can and cheese and crackers to snack on

in between...if I feel the need. That ought to make my body know

there is no famine in sight...lol

It depends on what one I have lying around. I use the Body For Life

regular, EAS Advant Edge, High Protein Slim Fast, Zone or The

PayDayPRO (MMMMMM)

The point I was trying to make is I want to eat all REAL food for the

last 4 weeks if I can do it. Finding my sweet fix may be a problem

though. I know I can have fruit and cheese, or Yogurt and meat...but

sometimes those bars just hit the spot.

I just want to see if getting off the processed/pre-packaged food

will add any benefit for me
