Tuesday evening workout- Firm Cardio

Hi,

This evening I did Firm Cardio. I was a little reluctant to do another total body workout since I just did Vol. 2 yesterday, but I'm sore. I burned 296 calories so not as much as I hoped.

With doing The Firms they do pushups in about every workout so I've been noticing that I'm getting better at them. Last night while doing Vol. 2, she does 2 sets of 16 and I was able to do both sets on my toes :)) Not sure if anyone else has this, but I feel like I could do more pushups, but I find myself holding my breath while doing them. Then I start straining and they become to hard and I have to stop. The 2 sets of 16 last night was a real accomplishment and I was sucking air at the end lol I'm thinking if I'd do them every day I get really good at them.

Not sure what Firm to do for tomorrow. I've got just a this week and I'm done with this rotation.

I'm off to watch Idol.

Wow, , I'm impressed! Sounds like you're doing great to me. The pushups in P90 are giving me fits. It's like my shoulders won't flex enough to let me go down past getting my upper arms parallel with the floor-- and of course, along about in the middle of the second set, my arms start shaking so hard I have to go back to my knees. <G> I asked hubby to check out my form today, and he couldn't see that I was doing anything wrong-- suggested maybe " you're just not strong enough to do them on your toes yet. " I suspect he's right, but the only way to be able to do 'em is to keep doing them... and dropping back onto my knees feels like admitting defeat every dang time.

You sound like you're much stronger in the upper body than I am, and probably have a lot less poundage to shove up and down, too. LOLGreat work! I'll think of you and keep grinding when my arms start jerking!

I'm bowing to you... but I can't find a smiley that bows! 2 sets of 16 pushups on your toes!!!! I'm in pain and completely exhausted just thinking about it!

I'm also very inspired... someday I'll get there too (someday)
