Guest guest
Hi~ C3W2D6 I'm getting this whole this figured out the Third time around.. Yeah! I wanted to check and see if anyone was rowing with a Concept2 Rower for their cardio? I was just rowing along (Row row row your boat...) Tonight I decided to sit down and do the calculations to row " with the Highpoint formula " WHEW! It increased my rowing distance by about 30% over previous workouts that were longer in time duration too! So it's great... I just had some C2 questions...since it's new to me..anyone out there using a C2? Row row row your boat...
Guest guest
We have one, but I have trouble using it for my HIIT Cardio, so I haven't been on it lately. By the way, there is an excellent website and forum from Concept2 - www.concept2.com. You can set up your own personal training log to track your progress. My 16 yo dd rows, and she says my form is wrong. And I have terrible trouble maintaining the different numbers at the rates she tells me to maintain. So I don't currently enjoy the rowing! HTH n T. Guest guest
I sometimes use a Concept 2 as part of my interval cardio. I don't know how much help I'll be though because it's an older model and I don't pay a lot of attention to the settings. The resistance lever thingy (that's the technical term for it... LOL) is always on 10 and I haven't the first clue what the readout is looking at. I'm guessing it's calories per hour. When I'm cruising it says like 600 and on my sprints it jumps up to 1100 or so. See, probably not much help. :-) I do agree that rowing is a great change of pace from the other cardio machines.
