Wednesday evening workout

, are you actually a superhero in disguise as an ordinary mom & wife? This is an amazing workout for someone so lacking in sleep! I'm so glad to hear it made you feel better though, I am tired just reading about it! :-)

Wednesday evening workout

The no sleep is really starting to catch up with me today. I didn't really think I could or even should do Gym Style chest and triceps, but I did and once I got going I was glad and I felt a little more alive.

here is what I did:

CHEST:

drop set push ups- all 72 on my knees

bench press- 20 lb ( 1 set) 18 lb ( 2 sets)

dumb bell flies- 18 lb ( 3 sets)

incline bench press- 18 lb ( 2 sets)

incline flies- 17 lb ( 2 sets)

close grip barbell bench press- 40 lb ( 1 set) 30 lb ( 1 set)

**I could've probably went up in a weight more if I would've paused the DVD and let myself rest for a minute. Man, why is that so hard for me?

TRICEPS:

Dips- I skipped these and used this time to put my bar bell away and stretch a bit. I hate dips anyway.

Dumb bell lying extensions- 8 lb ( 2 sets)

seated overhead press- 17 lb ( 2 sets)

cross body extensions- 10 lb ( 2 sets)

cross body extensions- 5 lbs (in place of band) those pulses really burned with the weights.

kickbacks- 8 lb ( 2 sets)

kickbacks- 5 lb (in place of band)

(sigh) made it!!!

Oh my Gosh! I can't believe you did this workout with no sleep! Hope you still feel alive, and I also hope you are able to get some sleep tonight.

LOL well, I got some sleep last night with the help of a sleeping pill. I feel so much better today. My chest and triceps are already feeling sore from last nights workout YAY!
