Guest guest
I don't think the Nebraska athletic program agrees with your assessment of squatting and athletic performance. Squats and hang cleans are the core exercises upon which they build the strength programs for their athletes. As the Husker Power web site (www.huskerpower.com) makes clear, there is more to strength and conditioning than squats and hang cleans, but these exercises are the strength exercises used to assess an athlete's preparedness. And their squats are impressive. Skip Dallen Covina, CA ----- Original Message ----- Mims writes: > I learned my strength training techniques from the > Nebraska Cornhuskers. There impressive record on the Football field, or their impressive squatting record? If their players all have impressive squats, then you perhaps have an argument, but frankly there is no correlation between squatting strength and performance on the field.
