We use soy milk alot in our house. I'm not a big fan of cow's milk

(although I will use it on occassion).

The soy milk works fine in the protein pudding, from my

experience...although it will be a bit thicker than if you used skim

milk. But as far as taste goes, I think it's fine. I actually use

the Vanilla soy milk. Yum!

thanks! I was hoping you'd say that! Can I ask what brand of milk

you use? I've never bought any yet, and want to get the best

tasting one in the hopes my kids won't have a complete fit at the

change!

i've tried it with rice milk and it was great. but i had to adjust the amount of

milk to about half what the recipe on the box called for. this was actually good

for me, because the carbs in rice milk are much higher than regular milk. not

sure about soy...so you may have to experiment but you definitely can still make

it with non-dairy alternatives.

I usually buy Silk Soymilk. Sometimes I'll buy 8th Continent...but

I prefer the Silk brand. :)

Oh, and I HIGHLY recommend the vanilla flavor over the plain. Your

kids probably will too. :)
