I'm West-Indian and we use chana for our rotis. Actually, we use

chick peas and mash it... Hmmn, I always thought it was the same.

Now, I have to see if chana is a different pea.

Okay, I just read some more. Apparently,it is a different pea. Now,

I feel as if I've been lied to all these years! :)
