Guest guest
8 weeks - no results, no pounds or not more than 1/2 " lost, though I think I am getting a bit smaller around the middle of my upperbody. I am pear shaped. , would you please send me the link of the page you wrote, what to modify when you are not getting results? I'm not discouraged (except for 1 day this week when I got depressed: I had my RMR breath analyzer, which said I should be losing 2lbs per week on 1475 calories, and I'm not losing anything). The fitness instructor suggested " one needs 60-90 min of cardio 3x/week to lose, " and that discouraged/depressed me. I'm PROUD to say that the way I dealt with the depression was to add 20 min of regular exercise bike after my regular LBWO, INSTEAD of EATING my feelings! Well, I am also discouraged, but am perservering and am committed to 2 challenges and really making this a way of life because I believe in it; it is so healthy. The changes that are happening are: 1. I don't nibble between meals at work or at home: this is a HUGE change 2. I used to eat about 300-500 cal of my 1300 cals of sugar and bread and don't now 3. I am pretty peaceful about my food and exercise routine 4. I am learning to really eat small portions. With Weightwatchers, I would eat a HUGE plate of cooked vegies, a HUGE plate of salad (because they were " free " ), and then small portion of protein, and no carb. Now my body is getting used to small meals, and so I notice when I am hungry, which is totally new for me What I plan to do: 1. Saturday I do my HIIT and then go right to Jazzercise, so there's 65 min of cardio 2. Add 20 min of regular cardio on 2 of the 3 weightlifting days, after the UBWO or LBWO 3. Write my food on fitday again, and really keep my carbs whole like fruit and brown/wild rice 4. Limit my freeday to 2500-3000 calories and count the calories, for this week and next week. Today I plan on having 2 meals: a bigger brunch of eggs, potatoes and adding bacon and maybe bread, a chocolate bar I've been saving, then dinner of italian something yummy, and then later at night 2-3 portions of light icecream (1- 1.5C) and a piece of chocolate. That sounds like a real treat but not a binge. So you can see my freeday is still an emotional concern that I am blowing my week's work in a day. And do any other of you have suggestions to get results? - Etana C1W8D7 165 pounds 5'4 " (my high was 206 5 years ago, and I switched from 3 years of Weightwatchers 1200-1300 cal right into BFL, so my body was probably in stavation mode with a very low metabolism. I am 59 young and strong and healthy and beautiful!)
