Guest guest
This morning I did 2 dvd's, and it's just what the doctor ordered!I love these dance workouts! Both are cardio funk, and the moves are so simple that you feel successful doing them. is Rhythm herself, so you can go like a maniac with these basic moves if you want to, or just keep it basic. There was one point where she does 2 fast V-Steps and I just did 2 jumping jacks instead to make it smoother and to keep my heart rate up.Each dvd is 30 minutes long with a warm-up, 2 dance segments, and a toning segment. I just did the warmup and 4 dance segments. The music is GREAT for a workout video, right up there with Turbo Jam. has wonderful motivator cues, like she'll say, "You look great! Who cares what people say? Shut the drapes and have fun!" She is so positive and upbeat that I want to reach out through the tv screen and give her a hug! She doesn't mirror her cueing, but it really isn't necessary for this because she almost never says right or left so it works. I kind of like that you start on the left lead because most of the time we lead on our right so it's good to balance things out sometimes. and Carolyn will appreciate that she takes zone checks and has you look at your heart rate monitor to see if you are working at your greatest fat burning potential. I worked up a good sweat and feel great. I started my period last night so that explains why I was weepy all day yesterday. I'm attaching a photo I took yesterday; I caught my beautiful princess drinking from the toilet, under the gaze of an avid admirer (who is also my workout partner/coach).Hope everyone has a great day working out!
