Guest guest
So I was a victim of a little bit of negative thinking. Ok, I've been fighting a cold, a cough. I've had two sore throats in a month's time and lost my voice for about a day right before New Year's, and my younger son and daughter missed four days of school each. Well, I had been doing really well with my running for quite a while, and had to sort of shirk on it. So those negative thoughts were creeping in, like, I didn't have it in me anyways, it was bound to go bad. Well, yesterday I ran in the afternoon for a change, and it did wonders. I was expecting my arms to be sore from all the exercise Wednesday, but they are sore today, so I guess that's good. I'm on chapter two or three of the women's BFL book and it sounds really good. I was looking at myself in the mirror yesterday and got kind of depressed, but also more determined, which is good. Aging is not a fun process in some ways, or not aging healthily. I want success and I want to really make this work for me. I'm going to try to make those changes and get the courage to go to that 24 Hr fitness place in the fairly near future, and not be embarrassed that I look like I really am out of shape. I've looked much worse dressed, and I look " ok " in my clothes, but I want to look more than ok! I want to look really fabulous. Guest guest
Marie, good on you for recognizing that you aren't thinking " right " . Instead of thinking negative thoughts about yourself when you look in the mirror, say nice things about yourself! (my eyes are really blue! My lashes are so long! My hair is healthy!) And as you found out, once you exercise, your hormone levels go up and you feel better! Keep it up, Marie! Run forest, run! Kanala > > So I was a victim of a little bit of negative > thinking.
