Hahahahahaha....

Okay, I need to make a slight clarification:

I do love acai from what I have experienced BUT I really do not want

to think this is an energy wonder pill/product/juice. I did notice

that my energy increased and that I was more focused and not so fuzzy.

But this is just one of the benefits.

The berry has incredible nutritional value. I mentioned before that

it is a very highly packed anti-oxidant and considered a super food

(as far as value to the body).

Anyone wanting to supplement with it, make sure you do your research

and get as pure form as possible (whether in the pulp or in a

supplement). make sure there are no added sugers...especially for

BFL'ing unless it is minimal and you feel okay adding the extra sugar

to your diet). I know a few companies make smoothies as as good as

they look, I bet they are way too high in carbs for BFL. Check the

labels. They may be free day material.

Some people may not get an immediate effect or none that you are aware

of. In my case, I did feel different. I have a pyschiatric nurse

friend who explained to me (we were talking about SSRI's and how

people can have different effects with different time) that some

people metabolism food, drugs, and even needed vitamins or supplements

and there is a *poof effect*...like how some women after eating a

piece of chocolate feel a calm or very pleasant effect. She also told

me that in trials, some foods can mimic drugs and if the body is so

depleted in a nutrient and if you add the nutrient to the diet,

changes happened immediately to some of the population. Ross in

Mood Cures speaks to this too. She has down alot of research with

food and mood. She also wrote Diet Cures which is also worth reading.

Anyway, I still love the berry. But please understand, I was really

just tauting its nutritional value to me...and that it seems I do not

have to rely on Starbucks or Diet Code Red as I am feeling alittle

more alert and energized sans the caffeine.
