Guest guest
Debbie, You may want to check out NSCA Strength and Conditioning journal. Volume 18/number 3, June 1996 has a couple of articles that may be of interest to you. One, " Resistance Training for Endurance Runners During the Off-Season " . Two, " Interval Squatting-A Strength Approach for Endurance Athletes " . Also, check out The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. Volume 15, number 4, November 2001. There is some interesting research on " The Relationship Between Field Tests of Anaerobic Power and 10-km Run Performance " . If these journals are not available to you I'd be willing to make copies and fax them to you. Email me at the address below if you unable to attain the articles! Sorry Mel, I'm unable to post the research in this post.
