Neuropsychology and Spirituality

Recently we had some discussion on the possible effect of prayer and religion

on health and healing. From the country of many surprises, Russia, comes a

scientific article which examines the realtionship between brain function and

spirituality in the shape of some fascinating neologisms: " neurospiritology "

and " spiritogenetics " . Unfortunately I could not obtain the entire article,

but possibly some of our Russian Supertraining members may be able to locate it.

Some debatable problems of spirituality are represented in association with

problems of neurospiritology and spiritogenetics. Tackling the problem of

correlation

between psychological and physiological phenomena gives new possibilities and

opens

new perspective in establishing the interrelationships between the physical and

spiritual

body as a united whole. The spiritual and integral nature of medicine implies

the necessity

of revision of both the treatment and prevention of illness, as well as of

medical education.
