We went to a neurologist in March who wanted us to take off of catapres patches (for tourettes) and try something for add. Well, my son went crazy, barking, mooing, and more in class and everywhere. We have been unable to get him stabalized since then. These past 4 months have been a living nightmare. We are also in a rural area and are having a terribly difficult time getting help. Noone seems to be able to do cbt or ert. We are trying to get into Stanford and they agreed the situation is serious but still, no appt. We tried another psychologist today and he thought might also have ODD - oppositional defiant disorder in addition to OCD and Tourettes. Have any of you ever heard of this? was the sweetest and most loving boy in the world until March. Do things like this come on suddenly??? By the way, he turns 11 next week. We adopted him from Korea when he was 18 months old. He even called the adoption agency and left a message that he wants a new family! Our three daughters are terrified. We are all walking on eggshells around here afraid to set him off. Lily, I would also be interested in hearing about online programs. School is stressful for him so I'm thinking now about having him go to school in the morning and then doing enrichment with him in the afternoon. By for now, in CA can@...
