Yes, it does move quickly from one exercise to another. That's why it's difficult for me to use very heavy of weights. I do like the alternating from upper to lower. Its warming up here too. But DH called this morning and said he couldn't see 2 feet in front of him on the way home from work, the fog was crazy. I didn't realize how bad it was until I left this morning and wow it was so scary. I actually almost had to pull over. You couldn't see anything until you got right up on it. My eyes were watering up from trying to focus... it was horrible. *~**~* Check out free AOL. Guest guest
Oh that fog stuff always happens when it goes from being really cold to really warm (especially with snow on the ground!) I'm guessing that it will be an issue here tonight! I'll take it over the darned snow and ice though! Donna --- fitgrl222@... wrote: > > In a message dated 2/21/2007 11:58:10 A.M. Guest guest
Sounds like you're having a great workout week Donna! Are there any aerobics (like dance step aerobics) to Super Sculpt or is it all toning? Sounds really great! How do you use a BOSU instead of a step? Isn't it hard to keep your balance and keep up with the pace (or is it just a matter of getting used to the BOSU)? I have really good balance and have a hard time standing on one of those let alone doing step!! Wed - FIRM (Finally!) Super Sculpt Hi Everyone!YAY! I felt energetic and well enough to do a FIRM. I went with Super Sculpt. This workout came out in1999, and I remember doing it over and over again formonths! (My collection was alot smaller then, too). Anyway, this is a good toughie - it alternates upperand lower body work. The first upper body session islead by Jen Carman, the first lower body part if leadby Tucker, the second upper body is Dale Brabham(sp?) and the second lower body is Carissa . There is a brief ab section and stretch at the end(also lead by Carissa). Overall, a thorough workout. The leg work is super tough, especially 'ssection. The body of the workout is probably 40minutes. What I liked about this workout is that itis very versatile. If your short on time you can justdo one upper and one lower body section. Or, you cando the workout as a "split" doing just upper body orjust lower body. The exercises are what you would expect from the FIRM- leg presses, in this one they introduce the curtseydips which are killers. They also move quickly fromexercise to exercise so sometimes it is necessary tohit pause and get yourself set up. Lots of push-upsas I recall as well!I warmed up with T-Tapp Primary Back Stretch. Although T-Tapp works for me, I'm getting bored withit already so I may start alternating T-Tapp BasicWorkout with a 10 min. Yoga routine as my warm-up. Ifind, probably since I workout first thing in themorning, that the extra stretch/movement is necessarybefore getting into my "main" workout. I'm thinking Ican alternate the T-Tapp Basic (which takes 10 min orso) with a quickie yoga flow practice (I do have tonsof those 10 Min. Solution workouts to put to use!) Isometimes just can't face doing the same T-Tapproutine every morning!Anyway, I'm hoping to have the energy for Super Cardiotomorrow. I plan to use the BOSU in place of thestep. Then, on Friday, I plan to do Cardio Split 1 again. Even though it will have alot of repeats from SuperCardio and Super Sculpt (it is made up of thoseparts). I plan to use the BOSU and Ball for all ofthe strength work to vary it up.Hope everyone has a great day!It is spring-like here, in the 50's - what adifference a week makes!!Take care,Donna__________________________________________________________The fish are biting. Guest guest
Thanks as usual, for the encouragement, Carolyn! Good going on your workout today, too! I think mixing the yoga in with the T-tapp will be a good way to go. It has gotten to the point where I'm dreading my workout b/c I'm dreading the T-Tapp. Not good! I think yoga will accomplish some of it and as long as I stick the T-Tapp in a few times a week I think I'll be okay. I honestly don't know how people do JUST that.....I'd go crazy! Guest guest
Donna, I've done Super Sculpt only once and remember it being a toughie! Nice job! Have fun with Super Cardio tomorrow! I always dread doing this workout but I love seeing how many calories I burned at the end. KimDonna M-P <donna112520@...> wrote: Hi Everyone!YAY! I felt energetic and well enough to do a FIRM.
