My New Meal Planning Insanity

Okay... I know i've lost it...

I have DietPower to track my calories (I do this as

I'm a bottomless pit and don't have either an off

button or signal to tell me i'm full... LOL!)

I've been getting tired of writing down what i eateach

day, then logging in every day to tally up my foods,

making sure i'm eating enough protein, etc.

So I went through my main meal ideas, used Dietpower's

recipe creator function, and came up with almost 30

recipes for single serving meals that meet my

requirements (I follow more of a zone ratio, 40/30/30

of carbs/protein/fat as I seem to feel/perform

better). I made each recipe one serving, and each

meal/recipe has almost exactly the same number of

calories and is balanced.

I spent probably over 2 hours doing that last night,

but now I have a almost 30 meals to choose from, and

exactly how much of each item goes in each meal.

I eat 6 of these a day, 2-3 hours apart... and I don't

have to track in my dietpower program every day... I

based the recipes/meals on the word doc I uploaded

yesterday. Just made sure they were balanced and in

the same calorie range....it makes putting my meals

together the night before a lot easier.

Just wanted to share my insanity, LOL... Now I just

have to type it into excel or word as it's just

written on two pieces of paper. :)
