Guest guest
MOPs is Mohters of Preschoolers. I am the mother of a preschooler, but I don't belong, so I don't know exactly what the food situation is. Is it a potluck? then you can bring something BFL friendly and have that. Definitely bring water--that is pretty common I think, so you could fill up a bit and not feel self-conscious. When I'm at social food situations, I tend to absent mindedly munch. I try to eat beforehand, or eat a small amount then discretely pop a stick of gum in my mouth, so I won't forget and pop something into my mouth. HTH, Candace > > > > Are any of you moms in MOPs? Guest guest
I love MOPS!! I have been going for a year. Don't worry about the food, there is typically fruit there and it is served buffet style. Not everyone eats. Food is not the focus at all. I would encourage you to go to a meeting. You don't have to join to go to the first one. Check it out and see what you think. Best of luck! Pinkribbon
Guest guest
MOP's is a national organization for mom's of 0-5 year olds. The meetings take place at a church. The mothers listen to a speaker and eat brunch, potluck style. The kids are in a preschool like program. > > > > Are any of you moms in MOPs?
