Guest guest
HI , Does anyone use the south beach diet wraps as a meal? They are 240 cals, 24 grams of fat, and 22 grams of carbs. What do you think? They sound ok to me and they are delicious! Tammy B > > __________________________________________ DSL – Something to write home about. Just $16.99/mo. or less. dsl. Guest guest
I ate the South Beach wrap kits every day until I couldn't stand them anymore. :-) They're balanced and they're authorized foods, just a little high on sodium. The meal is healthier if you can add some tomatoes and green leafy stuff like spinach or red leaf lettuce to the wraps. Or you can also take a little bag of celery and carrot sticks to eat on the side. The nutrition stats on the South Beach frozen pizzas are pretty impressive too. The one with chicken and vegetables and a whole wheat crust has 300 cals, 29g protein, 34g carbs and only 8g fat. And they finally made them microwavable. Some people do really well on the convenience foods and some people see their results stall if they eat too much high-sodium processed stuff. You have to kind of go by your own results as far as whether or how often you include these. Everybody should know they're out there though. If you're late for work and have no food prepared, grabbing a South Beach meal is a lot healthier than hitting the fast food drive-thru. Guest guest
I just tried the South Beach Meal Replacement Bars. DEE-LISH!! I have to watch it, because something that good can quickly become a binge trigger, but if I limit myself to one per day for a MEAL, they are GREAT! 19 grams of protein, 5-6 grams of fiber, about 20 grams of carbs. 100% of Vitamin C & E, but I don't know if it's the type that's assimilated well or not. Anyway, I take one along for a movie treat instead of the " death-in-a-bag " popcorn. Like said, whole food is better, but these are better than junk. Use wisely. BTW, I've tried the Cinnamon Creme, Chocolate, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Crisp, WOW to all of them! > > > > > > HI , > > Does anyone use the south beach diet wraps as a meal? > > They are 240 cals, 24 grams of fat, and 22 grams of > > carbs. Guest guest
I use Carb Chopper Tortillas for wraps made by Santa Fe Tortilla Company. They are 70 calories,2.5 grams of fat, and 7 grams of carbs, 4 grams protein. Water and WW flour are the first two ingredients. They are the diameter of a salad plate. Guest guest
So where do you buy these South Beach bars, pizzas and wraps? I haven't seen them anywhere. But then again, I haven't been looking for them.
Guest guest
The frozen meals are in the frozen food section, by the Lean Cuisine. The bars are by the Vitamins, at least at my Kroger they are. The wraps are by the lunchmeat. You can always ask the Customer Service counter too. By the way, if you still have Sunday's paper, there were a bunch of coupons for the South Beach stuff in the inserts with the other coupons. Guest guest
I try to avoid meals with that much fat. I make my own wraps at home, and I find mine taste alot better than stre bought ones. Guest guest
I think that's supposed to be 24 grams of protein, not fat. > > > > > > > > HI , > > Does anyone use the south beach diet wraps as a meal? > > They are 240 cals, 24 grams of fat, and 22 grams of > > carbs.
