A question re. planning workouts

Hi all

DH and I just spent some time planning our workouts for this week. A question

- let's say I plan the following lower body workout for this week - leg

extensions, dumbbell squats, dumbbell lunges, lying leg curls, standing calf

raises, one legged calf raises.

Next time I do a lower body workout do I repeat the same workout (and try to

increase the weights) or do I pick a different set of exercises?

We are not sure which is most important - varying the exercises to work

different muscles or working on buidling up the intensity of the same

exercises. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks!

Next time you would repeat the same workout and increase the weights.

The book recommends changing your workout (the exercises and the

order) every 4 weeks. It's fine to change it a little more frequently

than that if you're wanting to shake things up, just don't go longer

than 4 weeks with the same routine.
