I believe that the only thing you're doing wrong is weighing and

measuring yourself the day after free day. Do it ONCE a week, the

morning of free day, before you've had anything to eat or drink. That

way you'll always have a full week of clean eating behind you and the

measurements will actually be relevant. Comparing your post-free day

measurements to your pre-free day measurements from a week ago last

Tuesday doesn't really tell you anything important, it just jacks with

your psyche.

measurements, especially my waist which had gone down by 1 3/4 in. I was so

excited and happy that things were starting to change! But then, after my free

day that week all 3 lbs. were back. It took until the next free day for those 3

lbs. to be gone again, also at that time my waist went down another 3/4 inch,

but the rest of my measurments were the same. That was the morning of my last

free day (last Friday) and now those 3 lbs. are back again! My measurements are

the same though, so I am trying not to stress over this. I guess I just need

some reassurance that this is normal and I am not doing anything wrong....or am

I?

I do my main weighing and measuring the morning of my free day before I eat or

drink. Those are the numbers I record. But you are right, I probably shouldn't

do it any other time! But it always seems I can't help but jump on the scale a

few days later just to see. I guess curiosity gets the better of me. Then I

wind up measuring just to be sure that the inches didn't go up too! Which, so

far, they haven't so I am probably just being overly paranoid. I will try not

to worry so much about it. Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing because I weighed consistently 178 the

first 4 weeks of body for life. Then the end of week 5, I stepped on

the scale and I was 173!!! I was so excited. Now two days after free

day I'm back to 177. I would try not to stress about it. Our bodies

flucuate a lot and your body is busy making long term changes. It will

be a permanent change soon.
