Guest guest Posted February 10, 2007 Report Share Posted February 10, 2007 hi everyone!! well, there is not much on my workout calendar this week. two sick days at the beginning, then my usual banking/errand/shopping day, followed by two rest days. ugh! for the past two days though, i have been getting my workout while deep cleaning our house! this has been many hours spent de-cluttering and washing walls, cupboards, ceilings (washing floors is still to come). ive been thinking that once i get back into my normal workout schedule, i would like to workout for 3 weeks, then take 1 week off to do this deep cleaning stuff on a regular monthly basis. i always seem to peter out in my workout rotations after the 3 week mark anyway... might as well then do some functional work instead of sitting around, resting and watching the dust grow. um, no, i did not do any yoga this week as i said i would!! my bad!! im taking tomorrow and monday off from cleaning and am planning on doing a light workout on each of those days. then it is back to cleaning the house each day for the rest of the week. after i have made it through our son's birthday party on sunday the 18th, i will finally be back into my regular workout schedule. that will make for an extra-long recovery period as i STILL have the damned cold thang, after 2.5 weeks!!! but, finally, it is improving each day now, instead of getting worse. my plan will give me 3.5 weeks of 'rest' from my workout schedule... im hoping that the functional work that im doing with all of the deep cleaning will help to prevent alot of soreness when i start working out to videos again. :*carolyn.
