Guest guest
The bar is going to be sitting on your shoulders and upper back. Your hands will be gripping the bar like you would with squats. The bar isn't really " on top of " your shoulders, it's actually resting slightly behind them on your traps. So when you come down to one knee and you are ready to go back up again you are going to push your shoulders back against the bar, leaning against it for support to help you stand up. To explain it further, do not use the assistance of your back foot (the knee that's down on the floor) to help you stand up. Keep your back foot loose, and only use your front leg to help you stand up. What this does is puts all the work into your butt. So when you first do it exactly as I explained it, YOU WILL KNOW IT!!!! Do it with absolutely no weight on the bar. You can get good resistance out of it with no weight for quite a while. Even until today I still use no weight or only 10-15 pounds on each side. Have fun! You won't be able to walk tomorrow!!! > > > > > > > > That's a good point.
