- exercise video/dvd obsession and family members

Hi ,

It was a fairly serious fit. I can see where he is

coming from -he is in an unstable business

(broadcasting) so he is always nervous about money,

job stability, etc., etc. Plus, where I work changes

are coming - I have a gov't job and this was an

election year so there is going to be new leadership,

etc., etc. Actually a bunch of Directors have already

been asked not to return to work - so-- he's worried

about that. I'm low on the food chain, so I'm not

going to be canned, but my work circumstances may

change in such a way that I need to leave and find

something else. Right now, I need a flexible work

schedule to take care of DD - and if the new

leadership isn't agreeable to that I'm going to have

to leave and find something else - which means leaving

behind a decent paycheck. Finding a job closer to

where I live is a possibility, but the pay will be

lower. I can see where he is coming from, but you

can't always be worried about stuff like that - what

is certain in life anyway? I know I have way more

workouts than I need, but I honestly don't buy

anything else and I always do buy on sale - either at

Ross, or DDD, etc. In fact, in all my years of

vidiocy, I've never ordered from Collage - b/c I hate

paying full price and shipping! I always look for a

deal. So, I can see his point, but, by the same

token, I also don't think a few discounted DVD

purchases are going to drive us to poverty either!

Ah, compromises!

I do have to add, I do use my workouts, so it isn't

like I buy stuff and never use it - but b/c of my

collection I don't use each individual DVD all that

often.
