Guest guest
What can I do to supplement the freeweights that I already own at home? I had a great UBWO today, and used some leg weight bands to add increments that I don't have. I have: 3# only have 1; will buy another 5# have a pair 10#have a pair 12# don't have; don't think I need 15#have a pair 20# only have 1; will buy another 25# should I get these? I am proudly lifting 8, 10, 12, 15 12 or 10, 12, 15, 20, 15 1. I can get another 3# and then I can combine 2 dumbbells and lift 13, 18, 23 Is there another way, other than the clumsy putting 2 dumbbells together? What happens if the 20's unbelievably get manageable? I can do the exercise, but getting them in place, and putting them down, well they're heavy. Should I think about getting a barbell and plates? I have never used them, nor considered such a purchase in my wildest imagination! Can you suggest places to get them used. I phoned Play it Again Sports, and they say they are $.35/pound used and $.59/pound new, so still not very inexpensive used. What do you think of those infomercials with different machines, there's one that uses one set of bands on a chair and gets all kinds of tension and muscle groups. thanks, Etana I only wanted to be thinner and lean, never thought I could lose the sags and fat folds and have the possibility of a firm body. I never saw that as who I was or could be. But I am loving BFL.
