Guest guest
For the last year or so, I've been plagued with a strange insomnia – waking up sometime between 2am and 4am religiously during ovulation and menstration. No remedies worked. I've just completed five nights in a row, before, during, and after ovulation, of perfect sleep. Yea!!! For those of you who are having unsolvable sleeping problems, I'll list what I did in case it helps anyone. I tried several things, so I have no clue which one(s) were responsible. 1) I started with a liver cleanse in an attempt to get rid of any built-up estrogen. 2) I made sure that I didn't eat any meat with hormones/antibiotics 3) I adopted the infamous warrior diet 4) I eliminated all grains, dairy, eggs, potatoes, and corn from my diet, just in case a food allergy was causing my adrenal glands to produce too much cortisol 5) I took GABA in the afternoons and/or bedtime if I was feeling stressed. I plan to keep this up through menstration to confirm that this is helping my insomnia problem. Then I plan to re-introduce each food every two weeks to see if I continue to sleep well.
