Guest guest
Dear list, I will not attempt to write as gorgeous a love-note as Suze sent us a few months ago, but I just have to thank everyone for the time, effort, research, good humor, and community you all offer. I was having one of those " boy I don't talk to the opposition much, maybe I should see what's out there " moments and did a bit of googling. I found vegsource.com--basically a vegan message board for sharing recipes and peta bomb making recipes and the like. Well, we all know what we think of veganism, but I thought perhaps there are some smart, cool people on this list too...it's always a possibility. Boy, are they pathetic! There is a brief discussion of NT at one point and THE LAMEST rebuttal to Byrnes' " Myths of Vegetarianism " article. I guess when you're dealing with fanatics....well, there's no reasoning. My dh questions me every once in awhile about our NTish lifestyle (lots of dr. worshippers in his family), but it's been almost two years and I still ain't looking back. I know this isn't new information to you all, but I just wanted to thank everyone for having an open mind and BEING SO DARNED SMART! all my best,
