Nausea after oatmeal

I decided to try the morning breakfast idea of oatmeal (soaked all

night with vinegar or yogurt) and butter. As Sally said, it does last

all morning. I don't even start to get hungry until 2 pm. But I feel

somewhat nauseated right after eating it, which gradually fades

during the morning. I also am taking 1/2 tsp. each of cod liver oil

and butter oil with it. Is this a normal adjustment to the change in

diet and supplements? Maybe because I'm not used to so much fat?

I have not been eating the standard American breakfast previously so

it's not like I'm used to a light breakfast of cold cereal and milk.

I haven't had any cow's milk in 15-20 years due to food sensitivities

(raw milk is not available in stores and the one raw milk dairy in

this state has a waiting list). My breakfast has typically been meat

and vegetables for the past year or two, to try to treat my adrenal

fatigue and because I don't tolerate grains well (never knew how to

fix them properly before).

The butters I tried with the oatmeal was the butter wax from Green

Pastures yesterday and then today some cultured butter from the

health food store (can't get raw butter in store). Is the problem

maybe that my body is not used to eating large amounts of butter

after so many years of avoiding dairy (except for a little raw goat

cheese)? I am of ish descent so should be able to do well with

oats and dairy but as I said I have avoided dairy and most grains for

many years due to sensitivities.

I do tend to have a problem tolerating fats other than coconut oil.

Fats in meat tend to make me feel sick, even though I eat organic

meat. But I think I need more fat in my diet as I still tend to be

hungry and tired after my high meat meals and I crave sweets and am

hungry most of the time.
