Ha, I separated some hexane from some toluene the other day by fractional

distillation and to tell you the truth my toluene came out pretty impure;

however, I'm guessing people who get paid to do this do it a little better.

Why not just buy cold-pressed oils non-solvent extracted oils?

I don't think wheat germ oil is cold pressed by anyone is my point.

The outfir I work for uses hexane.

was at my health food store yesterday and they had cold-pressed

wheatgerm oil in the fridge. It says on the bottle that they don't

use any solvents. (I'm in Australia).
