Guest guest
I have 2 airplane trips coming up. Being preg I'm even more obsessed with nourishment than usual <g>. I plan on taking some food that isn't specifically probiotic but some have enzymes, etc... pepperoni, cheese, fruit, and a thermos of broth-based soup. Also vitamin supplements to last through the trip. When the food goes through the x-rays, is it essentially irradiated? Does the food develop toxins, or just become less nutritious? Will the supplements be effective afterwards? Has anyone tried carrying their containers of food through the walkthrough part and gotten away with it? On a positive note, I did take homemade yogurt through security last year and refrigerated at my destination. It was still good days later so the probiotics couldn't have been completely zapped.
