You coud do low dose EDTA chelator complex that Amy Yasko uses. You could do TD EDTA from Norway also. Keep the NCD because niether of the previous rely on frequent dosing. The chances are that a kid with that much Lead will also have Mercury, I used mostly DMSA/ALA so I could pull a wider range of metals FWIW Mandi x
Guest guest
Hello all Tom's doing great, has been for a while now and despite some awful behaviour which we think is part impaction and part " wakey wakey brain " (a medical term I am patenting, LOL) he's hanging onto new words etc. This morning " hello " , " bye bye " , " Zip " etc. HOwever, we know or strongly suspect he's still a real lead head. His lead levels have always been off the charts as well as antimony, arsenic and so on. The only chelation we're doing now is Authia and NCD. NCD may or may not be responsible for Tom's improvements also, we just don't know. Previsously he did 10 months of TD DMPS. Slow steady gains throughout but some terrible meltdowns. In our phone consult with Dr Usman last week she said (and she never really pushes anything) " you know unless you keep going with the EDTA you're not really touching that lead " . Which we know is true but we're worried that going back in with harder line EDTA (suppositories and tabs) will " upset the apple cart " . He did fine on EDTA although the one IV knocked him out. THe IV seemed to pull gallons of lead. What do others think? We've sent off a poryphyrin test (sp) which in my heart of hearts I know is going to say " lead head WAKE UP DIM MUM " but I'm still going to be worried about causing another regression. Am I just being a total wuss? Steph x
