Guest guest
what does anyone think of this idea? does it seem like a good high protein recovery food? has anyone tried making jerky out of heart? I have a decent source of grass-fed beef heart and was thinking of trying it. i also wonder how liver and/or kidney would be dehydrated? dehydrated liver treats for *dogs* are pretty common, and i was wondering if that might make it more palatable for *humans*, but i don't know how much of the nutritional quality would be lost in dehydrating non-muscle organ meats.... alternatively i could just bring a hunk of heart to the gym and gnaw on it after my workout, but i'm not sure that would go over well. besides it might be tastier as jerky ;-) Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc.
